• What is SkinPen®?

    SkinPen® is the first microneedling FDA and Health Canada approved medical device system. The sterile cartridge of needles is a one time use system that also gives a dial feature to set the needles to a specific depth to address your concerns throughout the treatment area.

  • How does SkinPen® work?

    It creates millions of microchannels in the skin to naturally stimulate collagen and elastin production to heal the skin beautifully while minimizing cellular damage. The SkinPen has be clinically proven to glide across the skin without causing micro-tears, its ability to move precisely in and out of the skin is primarily evident through the presence of erythema.

    SkinPen® treats acne scarring, enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, textured skin, surgical scars, stretch marks and so much more.

  • Am I eligible for SkinPen®?

    If you are looking to rejuvenate your skin from the inside out, microneedling with the SkinPen® is the perfect treatment for you. We do require our clients to be on a customized home care routine to support your results when utilizing this treatment. Always speak with your provider to know if this is the best treatment for you.

What to Expect

Microneedling is a multi-step prococess.

  • Your provider will thoroughly assess your concerns and address them with the appropriate settings on the SkinPen® device, customizing the treatment to you.
  • During your appointment we will apply a numbing cream to the treatment area and provide the necessary finishing products to accelerate the downtime and healing process.
  • Prior to leaving we will review your home care email, which provides all relevant care instructions including the care package of products.
  • The microchannels we have created are equivalent to a wound and must be treated as such. For the first 24hrs it is normal for your skin to feel and look red, tight, flaky, think sunburn but shorter duration.
  • Plan for at least 24hrs of downtime from this treatment where you will avoid the sun, heat, steam, and exercise.
